Kambo is a non-psychedelic medicine. It is the venomous secretion of Phyllomedusa bicolor, a tree frog found in the Amazon basin.
The medicine is administered through small dots burned into the skin. It contains dozens of peptides which lead to purging effects that are most often vomiting but can also include sweat, tears, and defecation. Users report feeling a sense of space, a decrease in the volume of inner thoughts, and enhanced focus and strength.
Kambo is currently legal in most countries, including the United States.
